She’s a Bit Dramatic

Tomatoes, the drama queens of the garden.

Before you start screaming and crying about your drooping plant, she probably just needs water.

Yup, that was all. Just water.

Now that that’s out of the way, tomatoes are in my opinion the easiest thing you can grow. Once you realize the drooping is her way of communicating, you’ll actually wish the rest of your plants did this too.

Here’s my 3 simple steps to tending to my tomato plants:

1) Sun, sun, sun. Give your plant as much sun as you have available.

2) Water her every day. She’ll remind you if you forget.

3) Trellising is a must. Vertical is the best way, but you can get creative with an arch if you’re feeling artsy.

And that’s it! You can breathe now. Once you have these three steps down you can sit back, relax, and scratch tomatoes off your grocery list.
