The Story Behind the Resistance Kit

One day I was scrolling the gram as we all do, and came across a story of my friend’s. She had re-posted homesteading content captioned with a hope and a dream to be where that creator was someday - connected to their food and more self-sufficient.

After swiping up, we began to have a conversation that mirrored a sentiment I see expressed all the time:

“I just don’t know where to start…”

That my friends, is what birthed the idea of a Resistance Kit.

It lit a fire in me, a beginner, to not gatekeep what I have learned but rather share, with as many people who’d listen, how to get over that first hurdle of uncertainty.

The technology and information we have access to today is helpful, but at times can be completely overwhelming. With so much information out there, I was overloaded and didn’t know where or how to start:

“Do I buy plants or do I start from seed?”

“I don’t have the money to buy a garden bed, or much less soil.”

These were just some of the questions keeping me trapped, self-conscious, and watching other people live my dream from the sidelines. So what did I do?

I just started.

I didn’t know buying a couple packs of seeds would turn into all of this, and that is the beauty of it. I took it one step at a time, and now I’ve created the perfect opportunity for you to start too!
